When is it Going to be Normal Again?

Making the most of every moment. It is not raining, yet! Chicago, IL. Lake Michigan.

Making the most of every moment. It is not raining, yet! Chicago, IL. Lake Michigan.

When is it going to be normal again?

Life as we once knew it is over. Things will never go back to the way they were.  The time is now to effect change.  It is all about urgency and intention.

Allow me to ask you some questions

If things stayed as is for another year or two, would you live today differently?

What if you are part of the solution and the world is waiting on you?

What are you going to do to bring about the change you want to see?

November 2017

I want to share with you a post I wrote in November 2017

“My hope is that we somehow find the urgency to live life according to our dreams and purpose because time can be elusive. I hope that my words will nudge us and give a restlessness that causes us to take particular notice of time. A restlessness that makes us ask questions and challenge our routine. I want to stir our consciousness, awaken our shelved dreams, light our souls on fire, and encourage the collective to live a bold existence full of passion and purpose. Let us treat our dreams like nourishment for our mind, heart, and soul not just whimsical fantasies. Let us take action and begin to write the #RoadMaptoYourDreams. Fulfillment of our dreams and purpose should be a priority. Start today.”

Urgency and Intention.

We are at a critical juncture of time in history. We have the opportunity to redesign our lives and re-envision our future. Yes, in the midst of this adversity, I said opportunity. We have all been struck by significant change. It is in moments of uncertainty like this that provide the greatest opportunity to make strategic and necessary changes.

While everything is in flux, we can reshape and re-imagine our future. The way it was will never be again.  Once again, I will say that this is a pivotal time to make necessary changes that will become the newer normal. Otherwise, by the time things fall into place, we will have to accept what is and what has become. In the absence of making the choice to effect change, we will have still made a choice. We will have passively accepted or made a decision to exist in the parameters set forth by others. Will you capture the opportunity to influence what could be?
