Giving back

Super excited to be invited back to my alma mater Colgate University for a conference “ Empowering the Next Generation.” I asked if my little girls could be by my side and they did not hesitate to say yes. Was it extra work? Yes! Was it worth it? Yes.

So grateful for so many things. Grateful to be welcomed back to campus. Grateful for the time to be present. Grateful for new relationships started with alumni and students.

The kickoff was a dinner in Colgate’s Hall of Presidents. While I mingled, I gave my girls an assignment to meet 5 people. They stole the room. Super impressed with their ability to embrace new situations and tackle challenges. I teach them and they teach me.
