Gratitude is Ever Important

There is no substitute for gratitude. Being thankful for what we have and where we are at any given moment is crucial for staying the course. Having faith can be difficult when you are not seeing results, action, fruits of your labor, or resolution with time. A dose of gratitude will chase those blues away. While there is value in discomfort, gratitude is grounding.
On paper, I appear to be over committed and pulled by two sports in separate directions.
Today is Audrey’s birthday. She is 14 years old. I must tell you about her! What an extraordinary young lady! In addition to being an excellent student, she plays the saxophone and is an excellent swimmer. She is beautiful…

Then she asked me about my wedding dress and if she could try it on. I told her tomorrow would have been our wedding anniversary.
The last post I wrote was nearly two years ago. I have been grieving, slaying giants, raising champions, and growing in faith.
This is my dad, Benjamin McKenzie. He is a handsome tall man. More often than not, you hear me talk about my mom. My mom was the outspoken one and it is easy to give her credit for most but that would be inaccurate.
