Potential and Capacity

I would argue that our potential is unlimited while our capacity has constraints. Our potential is bound by modifiable constraints which include things like our imagination and our beliefs. Our capacity, however, has one hard stop- TIME. If the greatest constraint on our capacity is time and our potential is unlimited- what are we waiting for? Every moment has promise! How will we to capture it? Now is the most important moment. What will you do with it?
On paper, I appear to be over committed and pulled by two sports in separate directions.
Today is Audrey’s birthday. She is 14 years old. I must tell you about her! What an extraordinary young lady! In addition to being an excellent student, she plays the saxophone and is an excellent swimmer. She is beautiful…
What beautiful and impactful work you do that has generational and eternal significance!
Then she asked me about my wedding dress and if she could try it on. I told her tomorrow would have been our wedding anniversary.
The last post I wrote was nearly two years ago. I have been grieving, slaying giants, raising champions, and growing in faith.
This is my dad, Benjamin McKenzie. He is a handsome tall man. More often than not, you hear me talk about my mom. My mom was the outspoken one and it is easy to give her credit for most but that would be inaccurate.
